I paid 50-cents at an estate sale for the old birdseye maple cutting board on the left. A little sanding and the application of some mineral oil brought new life to the cutting board. It was a diamond in the rough!

The beauty and practical usefulness of that heirloom cutting board design inspired me to create an exact pattern and use it to make my own "Classic Little Cutting Boards." Then I produced a YouTube video showing
